I know that this thread is primarily used to display our efforts at home. But in the spirit of wanting to share memorable dinners, I had to post these pics. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Joel Robouchon in Las Vegas this past week. Truly an outstanding meal I won't forget.

They were huge. Crunchy on the outside as you have probably heard but surprisingly sweet and chocolately inside. I'll be honest, I think I'm a bug eating convert. Originally Posted by gugi

Leftovers today; Pheasant soup with onion and carrots, served over truffle potato mash. I had a friend over for lunch yesterday, the breast fillets and legs were served then. Today I took the remainder of the bird and made a soup from it and served it over the leftover potato mash. Wasn't much meat on there, just about enough for one person, but it sure was tasty.
