    Cool Sunday night

    Curry Chicken over Basmati Rice

Been messing with the recipe, the wife asked me to try Sour Cream in place of the Greek Yogurt this time

Not bad, but not as good as the yogurt

Really like using the Broccoli on the top instead of Sweet Peas

Lots of sauce in the future. Some with no sauce. We ground a larger share of this one than I care to do but my family likes it ground. I rescued the loins and a few roasts and figure about 35 lbs of ground. We cleaned out the freezer of roasts etc. and figure we have now 85 lbs conservatively of ground venison.

This is a sample from the buck this year. [Before grinding.]

and this is from last year. The weather was unseasonably warm here so we did it in the back yard so when I spilled etc. I didn't have to clean it up!

I got him with my bow at about 10 yards. He was not a record setter by far but was a minimum antler size that I could legally take. I could continue with a rant about that rule but I will stop with that!

That looks like the one I saw in the movie Fargo, or was that a chipper?
