Went apple picking for some early ripes as I just love apples.
Hit the local butcher for some back ribs and a couple turkey legs for the Mrs.
Made up an apple reduction glaze with some gala apples and some Moroccan cinnamon.
Turned out very good with some crown royal Apple whiskey.

There's not too much in my kitchen tonight. But I did have monkfish tails.
So beer battered monkfish tails.

Well I'm heading out tomorrow the morning of the 30th to ride down and see pinklather so I thought that spending a few extra shekels on supper would be appropriate.
I fixed bacon wrapped scallops and a small lobster tail then saute`d crimini mushrooms in butter and garlic and boiled some white corn on the cob.
I 'WAS' going to make some Macaroni Salad but I knew it would be over kill so here's the plate. Not the most creative but it did the job
Here's what was left after I was FULL.
And here's what went into the freezer vacuum packed to be warmed up in hot water when I get home.
I'll post pics of dessert here in a bit.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
