Yeah, it says 5.9% alcohol on the packaging. It really tastes like root beer soda so I can see it sneaking up on people. Glen started a thread on it here in this section of the forum.

My uncle used to add extra sugar to his homemade rootbeer to make rootbeer wine. I have this vision almost like a dream that I will never be able to get out of my mind. I was sleeping on his couch and there was a commotion and this naked hillbilly with a long beard running by to the garage. His rootbeer bottles were exploding!

Even after 45 years or so I still think of this every once in a while.

Your counter seems not much bigger than mine. Where do you keep all the gadgets?

It's not a huge kitchen by any means. The cabinets are relatively high so that helps. I keep a few items in a hall closet. But mostly I have just enough space to keep the items I use. But there is no room for anything I don't need. A bigger kitchen might be nice but I can work with what I have.

Proper chow - that is. 'Beats my ready cooked chicken from the store, but it went down w/ killer whole grain sourdough supposedly the recipe used by the French Canadian trappers at Ponte au Calliere - where Toronto now sits. We bread heads are incurable. 'Hope you've been very well, Razorfeld.

I have been, to the best of my knowledge, well enough. My French bread pizza would have been off the charts had it been made with a chunk of one of your breads. The bread I've been making of late is just a utilitarian whole wheat (with a little rye flour thrown in and some sesame, caraway, poppyseed and fennel seeds added for a little flavor (never could settle on one seed flavor.)

Woah! You just raised the bar to EPIC level.
I guess that means it's time for me to make some pasta too. It's been so long. Next week, then
