    Again, my apologies for this late post, but here is a photo of my Christmas dinner as promised.

    Prime rib with horseradish sauce. Brown rice and green peas. Wine--Cabernet Sauvignon.

    Braised lamb shanks. Served with parmesan garlic pasta...best part was digging out the marrow!

    'Twas some delicious flaky meat. The liquid covered about halfway up the shanks, braised at 325 for an hour covered...flipped and another hour covered. I uncovered for another 15 - so 2 hours 15 minutes total. I may have left another 10 uncovered for a little more browning, but the pasta was done...
