To all Bay Rum addicts (in a good way) is there one that is not so heavy on cloves as the Pinaud? I love it but SWMBO isn't too crazy about the heavy clove scent

I was in a yankee candle co store the other day and didn't see or smella bay rum. They are stocked for fall right now lots of pumpkin spice and such

I wanted to tell a little "Bay Rum Story" here that I should have told a year ago. My daughter loves the smell of my Dominica Bay Rum aftershave. She says I "smell like Christmas!" Anyhow, she got married a year ago and at the rehearsal dinner, for my Father-of-the-Bride speech, I told her fiancé that I wanted to give him a secret weapon in keeping the affections of my daughter. I built it up rather melodramatically and then presented my fine new son-in-law with his very own first bottle of Dominica. It was a lot of fun, and a year later, he confides in me that the "secret weapon" really works!

Pretty much any other Bay Rum that I've had or sampled. I've always said that Clubman is very much clove based, though I'm still a fan.

and it is great! ...I'm not too hot about the Limes and Peppercorns sample that they sent tho.

I actually liked that one a lot when I got my sampler. I'm waiting to finish my bottle of Clubman before I break into the Ogallala, but will work the sampler scents into my rotation------today I think.

Any info on 11th mountain bay rum? I can't find anything online about it. I just saw a picture of it on instagram and it looked worth trying. Heres the picture.

None here, but just had to say that if you swap the 11th Mountain with Master's Bay Rum in that pic, you'd be looking at my rotation of aftershaves!

On a side note, my face has determined that it really likes the Master's, though that could just be the glycerine in it.
