Thanked: 4To all Bay Rum addicts (in a good way) is there one that is not so heavy on cloves as the Pinaud? I love it but SWMBO isn't too crazy about the heavy clove scent

I wanted to tell a little "Bay Rum Story" here that I should have told a year ago. My daughter loves the smell of my Dominica Bay Rum aftershave. She says I "smell like Christmas!" Anyhow, she got married a year ago and at the rehearsal dinner, for my Father-of-the-Bride speech, I told her fiancé that I wanted to give him a secret weapon in keeping the affections of my daughter. I built it up rather melodramatically and then presented my fine new son-in-law with his very own first bottle of Dominica. It was a lot of fun, and a year later, he confides in me that the "secret weapon" really works!

Any info on 11th mountain bay rum? I can't find anything online about it. I just saw a picture of it on instagram and it looked worth trying. Heres the picture.

None here, but just had to say that if you swap the 11th Mountain with Master's Bay Rum in that pic, you'd be looking at my rotation of aftershaves!
On a side note, my face has determined that it really likes the Master's, though that could just be the glycerine in it.Last edited by crouton976; 08-16-2013 at 06:56 PM.
