JaNorton is here!!!! Well the lather is as you can see. Simply fantastic. It is by slight degrees that the difference off the 8K hone but it is very noticeable. We are SOOOOOOO blessed to have hones that were fantasy back when this razor was made. I did not use ASB on purpose today as I wanted to see if any burn noticed and as of yet two hours later, Nada.... Is it BBS or CBS? No. But DFS none the less.

Razor: 7/8" Akamatsu Manaslu M55 "Ltd. Ed", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point

Strop: 5/75 laps (Tony Miller Horsehide Heirloom strop)

Lather: Al Raz Custom Bomb Shave Creme

Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)

Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer

After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Amber AS

After Shave Balm: Al Raz "Lavender" ASB

Cologne: Creed "Tabarome" EdT

Results: Oh wowwww. What a beautiful shave to start 2012 . The Manaslu hadn't seen much action as of late and a few refresh laps around the CrOx leather followed by stropping brought the edge back to life. Al's custom provided for some amazing lather...It just doesn't get any better than this. Loved every minute of this ritual.
