Oooooops. Apparently, I had mistakenly posted this in last week's thread (Thanks Rene). I must have partied harder than I thought
    Cheers,

You must have really partied. Looks like you stuck your brush in your dessert! LOL!

WARNING: THE CONTENT OF TODAY'S SOTD MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME VIEWERS. PARENTAL DISCRETION OR AN OPEN MIND IS ADVISED

    Prep: Hot Shower
Razor: 1960 Gillette Fatboy (set @7)
    Cream: Barbasol Sensitive Skin
    AS: Nivea Double Action Balm
    Finish: Nitro (a Hugo Knock-Off)

It had been ages since I last had a shave with canned stuff so I decided to give this a go. For some reason I thought it would be less of a sin with a DE. Barbasol seems pretty consistently lauded as the best canned goo on the market. As much as it pains me to admit it, this stuff actually delivered a really good shave and I have no complaints. Not that I'll be abandoning the brushes and soaps any time soon but I could see dabbling with this stuff off and on. It really was a great shave (then again with Nivea Balm and a cranked up Fatboy it's pretty hard to NOT have a great shave.)

Try adding some baby oil to it and whipping it up with the brush. Thins it out a little bit and adds slickness to it so that it works better with straights.

Wait...so I can use Barbasol and a straight razor and not have the Almighty strike me dead right there on the spot? I'll try the baby oil/mug method tomorrow.
