    Jamie.

Simple perfect BBS shave one pass with minor clean up, i would also say this is the sixth shave with the Feather Pro blade, and it shows no signs of slowing up sharpness wise, if these were the Feather light i'm affraid that they would have given up the ghost after 4 shaves.

    Hot shower prep
    Dovo BQ 5/8
    TABAC
    Ogallala BR AS

I was fortunate enough that my novice stropping ability didn't completely trash the edge Lynn put on my BQ, but even after salvaging a manageable edge, sooner or later a touch up is in order. Fresh from 10 X strokes w/ slurry, followed by 10 X strokes w/ plain water on the Norton 8k, 60 linen / 100+ leather, the BQ delivered a highly acceptable performance on 2 days growth, only requiring a single pass in most areas with the aid of a TABAC lather less hydrated than I've produced before. On a Face Fire scale, the Ogallala bay rum scored a solid 1, (out of 5), and hardly that, in all honesty.

Next up... something in a 12k stone.

    Yeah Bill, Killer Pic!
    MY TGIF SHAVE:
Prep: 3 mile run, morning pipe, lukewarm shower
    Razor: Friedmann & Lauterjung Electric
    Brush: Semogue 1305
    Soap: TSD Iced Sub Zero
    AS: Aqua Velva Classic
    Finish: Pinaud Lime Sec EdC

If you've got to use an Electric, this is certainly the way to go. I'd really like to know why they called this razor Electric. In any case though Norelco triple head can't touch this Electric. Two passes and I was CBS

    Friday

RAZOR: Feather All Stainless Double Edge Razor
    BRUSH: Merkur Futur Silvertip Badger
SOAP/CREAM: Acqua Di Parma Colonia Collezione Barbiere Shaving Cream
AFTER SHAVE: Acqua Di Parma Colonia Collezione Barbiere After Shave Lotion
COLOGNE: Acqua Di Parma Colonia Eau De Cologne

I am taking a break from my straight razors this weekend because they need to be honed. Oh... out of curiosity I bought some Bronnley Lemon Soap and tried it in the shower this morning. The Boss (aka my wife) likes it and said it compliments the Acqua Di Parma Colonia.

    Cheers,

    Chris
