I'm so paranoid when carrying my razor around the house to avoid this. That is a good chunk out of your finger. Just curious, what size of razor is that? 4/8?

Well, I've been doing this a long time, with at most a nick from a SR. Tonight, I scored with a Muhle R41 and a Feather blade, both of which I've used MANY times before with no injuries. I have no idea how I did it, but it's like a paper cut, and I'm on Blood thinners, and to make it more interesting, my wife "borrowed" my styptic pencil, and I had to use the old "piece of Kleenex" trick!

Man, I'm ugly up close

A very deep cut, all the way down to the tendon. You could say it was done with surgical precision!






In case you wonder, it actually WAS surgery, and I spent almost 3 weeks struggling to even wipe my own butt!

Do not ever use a straight to cut the thanksgiving turkey!!! Especially if you drank something else than mineral water.

I'm left wondering if you'd been practicing to shave with your off hand, whether or not your coordination for this activity would have been improved... ?

When my hand was in a cast I used DEs.
