Thanked: 3215You can re-glue the labels after the stone is clean and varnish over to seal the sides. I use craft store water based varnish. Or save them.
If you intend to reapply take some photos with a ruler on the labels so you know where they were originally.
The color under the label is what the stone will look like when clean.

Aloha!
I have wanted to try a Titan straight razor for a while. I have a few friends in Japan that like these razors. So I got a good deal on this model and decided to order one up. Should be here in a week or two, post office dependent;

Thanked: 17I'll be honest the look of these just screamed "razor shaped object" to me and I never game them much thought. I'll be curious to see how it works out for you, I'm hoping it goes well.

Thanked: 603After reading this thread, and having suffered for almost two decades from the vagaries of styptic pencils, I ponied-up for a smallish block of Laboratories Osma Alum, from Fendrihan.
It's "Out for Delivery"!!!You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Thanked: 4206Won’t be disappointed.i use the block after every shave regardless of nicks.
After rinse while face is still damp, rub dampened block all over. Let soak 15 seconds or so and rinse again.
Tight toned and ready to go.

Thanked: 556Also not bad as an antiperspirant.
They do not seem to wear down at all. Mine is almost 5 years old. Mind you, I don't use it unless I have pink lather now that I’ve discovered Thaters.David

Thanked: 9Yup! Got the last one in stock on Amazon
Hope it's worth the higher cost, like most everyone says it is
I gave away my Norton combo stones years ago, and the recent acquisition of a bunch of finishing stones got me the itch again, so figured it was time to finally try the famous green brick.
Was using a Gesshin 2k, which is pretty damn fast for a 2k, but isn't a replacement for a 1k by a long shotLast edited by Kavik79; 09-02-2020 at 11:45 PM.
