Thanked: 458Finally got to shave with it this morning. It does lather into billowy but thick lather with very little soap loading. And it lathers fast like a cream, but with a lather more like a soap (less greasy feeling). The scent isn't overly strong, it's pleasant and two hours later now, I don't notice any of it, unlike tabac and some others where every time you lean back, you smell the soap.
Very nice.

Thanked: 5Was it from PlanĂȘte Rasoir? I e-mailed them and they said that as from Jan. 1 next year, the jar will be $48 but 200 grams.

Thanked: 3Yes, Planete Rasoir. Very nice store. Plenty of Plisson brushes, and TI razors!

170g is a lot of soap!! If you think about it, a Tabac puck is 125g (IIRC) so 170g should last you a long time. Take this into account when placing orders.

the new jars are now 200grams instead of 170grams.
i got it from a u.s. vendor that once and a while gets some in stock it seems.
it is one of my favorite soaps...i could probably just use that one and be happy....but of course i use others.Last edited by jmsodpc; 05-05-2013 at 11:23 PM.
