Another day, another puncture, another side-wall cut.
Fortunately I was close to home, so managed to ride home and plug the hole but decided against continuing my ride.

You are fortunate! I still remember well riding a couple of years ago with my wife and my tire completely blew. We were only a mile or two from home so we just walked, but it wasn't fun...

Fortunately I've never had a tyre blow out.
Today's sidewall I managed to plug with the smallest plug I had.
Yesterday's just went flat extremely quickly but was far to big to plug.

Today's workout was a 5mile trail run. Hot and humid.

1-1/2 hrs of walking today, most of it was in the coulee's, the rest was in a local park.

Had to cut my long run a bit short on Sunday, only got 12km of 16 done. This morning was alternating trail sprints and lunge walks/squat shuffle/inchworm/high knees, finished up with 7 straight minutes of burpees. Went for a 7 km run after.

Went for what was to be a 5k turned into a 10k. Took 1:02 and some change.

    I made 2 mistakes....

I took no water. Which isn't unusual for a 10k in Scotland but the weathers pretty hot today. ~30C

I took no glasses. And since its pretty sunny up in the cairngorms i was rendered blind for a good chunk of my run.

Did stop to share something with you all though.

I'm a touch biased. But i think Scottish hills are amazing.

I think you're wrong there about those hills.
The whole of Scotland is amazing!

Incidentally i pilled out the bike and did the same route about an hour later in 34min 😂 seemed like a good way to stretch off the legs.
