Having problems with my back atm. Is a old problem but is nerves so no fun and restricting. Modified so I could at least do a reasonable workout.

    Yesterday's workout

Dead lift 160, 170, 180, 190 x 5( done on the rack starting just below knee height. Ladt set went to crap)
Bench bent over db rows 35 x8 x4
Wide grip pull down 50 x 8 x4 done at double speed(sets not reps)
Close grip pull down 40 x 8 x 4 done at double speed sets
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Did an easy 21km ride this morning to test out the new 1x11 I fitted on Tuesday evening.
I must say that the shifting on the new Shimano SLX is extremely smooth and probably better than my old XTR of yesteryear (ok 7 years ago).

Is a herniated disc at L5. Had it for about 12 years. Haven't found anything that stops it. Exercise and strengthening seems best at keeping it at bay but once in a while I seem to do something that sets it off. Don't know what I did to trigger it but seems to go away by itself so hopefully will sort out soon.

Exercise has been my fix in the past only having occasional problems but if I stop exercising it is just a matter of time till I have to live with it constantly. It's the reason I started exercising again about 7 months ago because it was starting to become a problem again and impacting what I was capable of and quite a bit if discomfort on a constant basis.

12km this morning, the ankle feels back to normal after the ultra relay. One more high volume week and then begins the taper.

A 30km ride this morning with the crew.

I rebuilt my Trail bike last night after taking off the drivetrain to put onto my XC bike. Will take it out tomorrow morning for a 40k+ ride.

Here's a pic of it almost complete.
