I have had luck on some blades with powdered Croox on a scrap of 800 crocus with WD to make a satin finish. Depends on the steel. It will also tone down a too-shiny blade sometimes.
Something to try. Sure is messy, though.

Trying to potty train my daughter. I probably started a bit late.
New manager at my store is nicer but works you like a rented mule.

    Moving in December.

Not really doing razor work atm, but I may try burnishing a stone to try eventually.

Just finished reading C is for Clown.

Do you mean surviving a storm of emotions that seem to threaten everything you hold dear?
    Good luck
I had a less than emotional response when I found out, my brain was calculating all the avenues of relevance, in a futile attempt at making the best of the complicated situation of pregnancy, she was very upset about that! Lol
Congratulations! First time? Or have a already been through the ringer?

Hey I'm gonna order pins and collars and such.
Can any of you guys give me some links to the best places to get those?

I'm particularly interested in those "pressed" collars, not the heavy solid ones.
    Don't have my saved links.

I like the quick ones too, but usually go with the standard pins and collars.
Thanks guys, I hope you are all having a great week and get some work done in the shop!
