So,they are counter sunk.! Guess it might save ya from hitting the edges of the collars, while pinning.

They do look a bit, thick.

Not really. The domed tops are above the scales.

I think the plan is to leave the bottom alone. Bog epoxy at the bad scale-top and bites.
Sand and steel-wool around everything else. An end-mill the right size down through the epoxy.
Neetsfoot soak and pin the top back up collarless. Blade done lightly.
    yeah...That!

Good luck on not breaking those. Its way beyond what id want to try. Even if i didnt break them with too much tension id probably break them with a hammer peening.

I don't think luck will have anything to do with it.
Besides, I have more than my share of bad luck!

Seeing how thick they seem to be, I don't see um being a problem. JMO

Just gotta have faith in yourself, Jerry.

Kinda like what you do for a living. Can be pretty scary hauling a bomb on wheels. But even worse when there's ice. Your still here, so you must use some caution, I reckon.

    Same thing..

Mike, your work on that Moses razor is beautiful. Don't know how else to say it. That is the officially the fanciest razor I have by far! I hope some day I can reach that level of skill at razor repair and restoration. I can't thank you enough.

Yes, I call it Mike-arta. If I call it Invisaliner the Invisalign company might come after me.

Tom, that is a new one to me. A countersunk MOP pin collar. Has me wondering what else we can make collars from....

    Mike, think abalone would work?

They look like jewelry beads. Similar to these found on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/100-PCS-DRI...005.m1851These appear to be a bit flatter but may be fun to experiment with. Can't go wrong at $7.50/100.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. There are some fancy MOP buttons on the bay too.
Getting the pearl flush with the scales and topping it with some of your nice collars......

I will buy some of those and experiment. Pass them around.
    Who needs 100?

From the picture, looks like there will be some culls.
