Get it on Matt, high output and a new blade each day is the elixer. [emoji6]

Some of us are tired of black scales, jazz 'em up a little bit!

I suppose that as it comes to old black horn on old blades, black is prerequisite!

    Love the stuff!

One of the things that surprised me was when I cleaned up a set of old black horn scales, inly to discover that they were really nice streaked scales that were dyed black. Apparently once upon a time the very lovely streaked scales were bleached and dyed to make them uniform black to suit the fashion of the day. I so prefer the multi color and streaked horn. I cannot imagine going through the effort to do such a thing.

Nothing but a little paint and a scrape with razor blade.

Ziricote scales are buffed out. CA finish.

I used Maas for the final polish and some Renwax. Gssixgun had an old CA tutorial i found pretty handy!

Ok now back to sanding the Wadsworth.. 2 grits to go.
