Nice razor Tom. Great story Mike. Did you manage to interest him in straight razor?

I will send ya a few of those Feather blades to fit that. Feather copied it and blades are around that fit both.
They shave awesome with the feathers in them!

Haha, Shaun, he still has his straight, strop, and brush from when he shaved our way.
Asked him to dig them out next time so I can ogle it. He says its German, but can't recall the brand..
    We shall see..

You are thinking about the Feather DE blades. The SE aren't nearly as wicked. You will be ok.

I just finished cleaning and polishing my Dad's 1957 Gillette DE with the blue end handle. I'll never use it because I hate cleaning a DE, so it will go on display in his memory.

So a blue-tip? I seem to remember those are the least aggressive as compared to the black and red tip.
What do I know? Not a fan of the butterfly ones. Just me.

Nice to have it in his memory. Good idea!

A friend has 2 of them which were his dad's. Like NOS in the plastic cases. Why would a man have 2 like that?
Gillette commercials and Christmastime, I expect!

You only need to clean it between blade switches,,, 30 seconds with a toothbrush & dish/hand soap,,,, she will stay shiny with this simple routine.
