Also found a couple of 4" buffing wheels that I can attach to my variable speed drill. Quality compounds will have to be purchased online. "Welcome to Garfield County, where we don't stock that item, but we can order it for you and charge you another $10 for shipping." I'll keep my eye open for a cork, I'm getting really tired of slicing my fingertip on the edge. I'll probably have to search online for sandpaper as you can only get 1200 grit locally, they give you a funny look when you ask for higher grits, lol.
You will be best served with 4" spiral sewn cotton wheels, anything larger will not only be able get into the small areas of a razor AND the heat the larger ones will generate may be detrimental to your razor by possibly producing too much heat and possibly ruin the temper.

It would help if you could narrow your location down from 'Earth' to somewhere more realistic so that we can try to help you find supplies and possibly local help.

ps: I was born in 'Garfield County' in Washington State but I recently rode through 'Garfield County' in I believe Arizona

I stand corrected; It was Garfield County Utah.

    Help me out gentleman,

Instead of having MikeB52 do everything for me. I wanna attempt to do something myself. I wanna make the simplest razor stand possible. woodcraft sells a piece of oak 2.5x2.5x8 that I think would be perfect for the job. I wanna split it in half length ways, separate the 2 pieces with some pegs and drill 4 holes into the top piece to hold each razor. my question for all you woodworkers is how thin can I make the top plate with out it chipping and cracking and how close can the holes be for the same issue?

    thanks guys,

...as soons as it stops raining, which should be sometime next week!

Yes I did. The uprights would be your dowel rods. Wasn't sure if you were using two or four dowels.
But you could go as thin as 1/8", but 1/4" is probably better. As for the holes, it depends on how long the top is, and how big a hole you need.

Once you have that figured out, then measure and mark your holes so their evenly spaced across your piece of wood.

I've been thinking of a way to convert a magazine rack into a razor display rack myself.
