Brooks and Crooks my friend, then Taylor Bros, Joseph Smith and Sons and then those black scales. I should be more specific.

I put on a very thin coat and it came out glossy and dries very quickly. So far it seems like it's going to be a very durable finish.
Your results look nice. A few years ago when I was an advanced Newbie I did this for a young lady here were I live. Check out the difference in the scales.

You really can't have too much in your arsenal to work with. At least within reason

The Russian razor honed up nicely. Naniwa 1,3,5, and a fair amount of work on the 12k I cleaned the stone a few times until she felt right , then about 10 laps on felt with.5 diamond and about 40 or so laps on leather. Next a shave was required so I lathered some Crown and Crane soap. Results? Truly sharp and smooth. A really nice shave. Of course it might have been the Vodka......

You can see the bevel is fine and very even on both sides. No warping or other weird things. Very smooth on my face. Totally cool for a new guy!

Beautiful razors RezDog! Feels good to get 'em up and running. A lot of great work going on here, hope to get time for a razor or two soon. Made a glue and paper sandwich for some honey horn blanks and clamped them together to get ready for a W&B that needs some love.

    Finished on the stones.
    1,5,8,12,..Thurigan.
To leather only, and a test shave in the morning.

I'm expecting exquisite, and exacting results. As I do with all Wade & Butchers.
This one felt real good on the rocks, I could feel it diggin in as the bevels came together on the 1000, and each stone after, as the previous stones scratches, were polished out.

    Very responsive blade..!!
    We'll see... upon sunrise.🙋
