Tearin one down for a cleanup, and to straighten, and make any repairs needed to the the horn scales, and gettum soakin.
I think this is what Tom referred to me as ,I should do pairs. Tom... You keepin tabs on my inventory?

By then my meat hooks should be at the most perfect grit, to grind out some scales for a Henckels 17. [emoji57]

Thanked: 4827There are some amazing pictures in the SOTD thread. To think I passed it over for so long.
Another productive day for me. Only one razor photographed today, although there were some razor related activities. I wish I could figure out how to get really great picture of the streaking and colours in horn scales.
This is the Elliot was were talking about earlier in this thread.
By modern standards it is not very hollow but for a pre 1856 it is very thin. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 4206I'd like to think the Grand folk would be happy the platters back in service.
And I tell ya Tom, of the two silver clad beauties you sent north that I was able to try, this Elliot really does fit my face and preferences, maybe due to the re grind..certainly doesn't diminish it.. If it asked for amnesty from the pending Trumpocalypse, I might have to listen, lol.
Had a pretty big meeting today with the Cdn VP about a program I'm implementing. Turns out he's sporting a similar circle beard as I am since post Movember and noted the Floid Orange I was wearing as something he remembered his dad loved,,,,
Needless to say the meeting went well.
