No country For old Men is a good but crazy movie. If it were me, i would have looked for a transponder out there where Josh Brolin found the money & left it out there with the dead guy under the tree. Any large amount of money like that is going to have such a device or similar.

Andrew, aka Harrywally, that is an awesome handle!!!

And yes, Machine Gun Mike, ya did a great job on the red imp scales. Everything else I have seen including Tom's Strop Supply is cool!
Good to hear, Steve! Don't be such a stranger!

FWIW, "No Country..." was set back in 1980 when RF transponders were not readily available (and probably did not work nearly as well as the movie depicts). That was my take on it. Almost any movie requires a certain suspension of reality. Well, at least the ones I find entertaining anyway.

Yes, we tried using them on cars & cases in the mid 80's & they were a PITA. If you were lucky, they would keep you within a block.

Tom, I'm trying not to. I had my pics working again.................temporarily! Then the last 2 weeks the landlord has had a couple guys putting up new siding where there aren't bricks 'cause the old particle board was rotting out. It has been a really fun time over here if you know what I mean.

For some reason, yes, it is! It's like a never ending cycle.

A break for two weeks seems unheard of. It doesn't seem like it was 30 years ago.
Those breaks happened once a month.
    Challenge every day, now!

I do trust that if one burns out, it's easier to change out than it was to do the conversion.
    Thanks.

Yes, very easy to change out the globes which are accessible from the back of the headlight.

Love that color on Subarus. Is that a WRX?

One of my old managers had an outback that required going through the wheel well to get to the headlights. His forearms were too big and broke the underside part one time and I was enlisted to help. Unfortunately he also bought strong lamps that burned out every 6 months...
