    Thanks.

It's the XV, also known as the Crosstrek in the States.

Xenon lamps don't have a filament but rather works on an electric arc between 2 points.

I finally got everything organized and all of my razors put into a framed glass case. I use all of these razors and now they are easy to get to instead of searching through a box of which one to use next. I just open the case and get the next one in the line and we are good to go. Very functional from my perspective.

    Nice looking case.

Any ventilation holes for what looks to be some celluloid scales?

Actually there isn't Roy. You think I should drill some small holes in the sides so I don't get scale rot?

I don't think that it would hurt. When we made the display case for the Canadian's Grandfather's razor we put vents in just in case.

Also I'd avoid having sunshine landing on them.

I didn't even think about that. I was so excited just to get them in one place after so long, the thought never even crossed my mind. I sure appreciate you waking me up on this one! I would hate to see scale rot and then think about how it could have been avoided. Really grateful to you for bringing this to my attention Roy!

I may be totally off base on this but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I hope others will chime in. There was just some posts about cell rot complete with pictures but I'll be Damned to Hell if I can find them.

Desiccant bags are another option to ensure a dry environment. Doesn't exchange the air, but if you are opening it every other day you should be fine I think.
    Nice looking display sir.
