Sides.....

My father inlaw just recently stopped playing. Every since I've been with my wife he's been a die hard lawn bowler. I know a bit about the game, but not much.

It has a right side & a left side just like you do. :shrug:

I think the small button signifies that the ball will break "curl" to that side when thrown. So if you want it to break right, have the small button on the right. Vise versa for left.


But now it signifies that this is the bottom of the shave brush. :)

The ivory disks are different sizes, so you know what way they curl. The lignum vitae are hard to come by now, they are collectable in their own right.

I would have never envisioned myself getting into a discussion about out of round lawn bowling balls.

A good example of why I like SRP and a good example of why I like hanging out around here!

Most of the time when I find them, they have massive cracks in them. I've bought, maybe 6 or 7 now, and the last one I got was in fantastic condition.

Well, you certainly don't find those around here! :(

Well Tom here it is thus far. Going on 320 grit those squiggles are not coming out idgit with his power tool effed things up and his scars shall remain.
