    Hello,

    I find on aliexpres GOLD dollar and litle changed it

    I used my hand and some tools. It is Gold Dollar after my work

    I have been working on hand plane restoration. Today I worked on two rusty Stanley's, a type 9 6C and a type 11 5C.

    The new owner of the tools and I spent the day using them to build a blade speed increasing pulley ratio unit for his riding mower. Milling key-ways, drilling large holes, And having a wondrous time figuring out order of operations from his sketches. He is a natural for cleanliness also without being a pain!
    And I have the Key when i wish to use the equipment. This gentleman has been of great service to me for many years and he already has the engineering and hacking touch!

    I decided to post a picture after thinking about this rabbit hole. A few months ago I decided to buy a used plane to make razor scales, now they are multiplying faster than my razors.

    Richard I am sorry we have not been neighbors. I would have loved a chance to learn just a little of what you know, working side by side. However I am very happy that you have a wonderful relationship with your neighbor. It is all looking pretty win win to me.

    Looks like we need to add a new 'AD' here at Straight Razor Place. It should be PAD;

    Plane Acquisition Disorder.
