    Once I got the brass profiled, it's been all hand file and wet sand paper work from there. Been a lot slower process than planned as the see through red has zero forgiveness for scratches left behind. I really like the brass edged look and think it'll really pop once all polished up.
    I think it looks like geography as well John. I always flunked those Rorschach ink blot tests too though, ha ha.

    I've been hanging around reading the festivities whilst honing this Turner, brass railed frame back....turned out had to remove a couple of small chips in the edge...so slow and steady on the Nani 3/6....ready for the 6k now, then the rest tomorrow I think....

    Applied a tiny dab of neatsfoot oil to the scales a couple of days ago to hydrate them a bit.

    Just remember the right answer to that test is, "It looks like a butterfly." When they fail to accept that answer & keep asking for details, " It looks like someone mashed a pile of ink between a folded sheet of paper."
