    Sometimes thing come up out of the ice. My buddy had a freakin' beaver pop it head out, spin around and go back under. Scared the crap out of him, because you know ice fishing you tend to daydream and space out a little, then BAM, hello beaver!

    Cut a set of scales from a glued slab of left over bog oak, that I cut Sharpton's scales from, and began sanding the shape.

    Finished the Turner frameback, and going to regret this, but decided to make my first attempt at a Coti finish.

    I'll give the razor a shave test, hopefully it will be good, and then going to try an Escher edge on top of the Coti...that seems to be a nice recipe around here I've heard....
