I keep looking back to the one you recently cleaned up Tom. That one is my guide, so yup,, i'm gonna pull up the toe and heel some more..

Figure dial in the smile, then clean up the rear stabilizer? Protect the good edge at the heel with some tape if need be and then raise up the last bit with a nice curve.
Will be using my variable speed belt for the next bit on a slow speed.

Do most of the stabilizer work before taking any more off the heel, Mike. Seems better, in retrospect, to go that way.
That way, if you have some slips and lose a bit more, it won't matter?
Was thinking about that as I was going at my stabilizer. Wished I had waited.
    Make sense?

And now she's a little more than the Mona Lisa's grin. I can hone a bit more smile in during the bevel set I would presume. Need one of my small machinist files to get up tight on the stab but she's coming..

hmm.... Are you sure that is the same razor? Major improvement. Now if I could make this one look like that one I would be happy.

Is that a stub tail Mr Smith?
Got the makings of a lovely lil wedge there.
    What make?
And thanks gents, going to start working on the old scales tonight so I can put the FBU back together for honing and final shaping maybe by the weekend..Helpful suggestions from many are keeping this razor from becoming a wall display.

Oh! Getting way ahead of me, Mike! Cannot wait to see the outcome.
I suppose I should get back on mine!

I avoid so many non fun projects around the house keeping so busy in the shop
Lawn care, pool care, doggy do-do details, hehehe.
Only problem is I lose track of time down there and am up quite late some nights.
Looked like Keith Richards during todays HSand E audit..
    Ahh well.
Will finish disassembly of the scales tonight and post em up..
    Salute'!
