Now that you mention it, I'll be going crazy wondering what it is that you will need a pickup truck for!

Also, you have a good point. Those are good adoration scales, if he saves them, makes new ones, then we could find good blade for them... valid point. They'd what I'd do too.
Thats funny, after great consideration i thought , mabye make scales, then if all works, ill have a pattern for the origanal scales. Then you two helped my decision.
    I will..... Make the scales.

    Whoever finds the blade......
( that goes for all )
    Gets the scales......

    Fair enough...?

    They are seperated.!!
A little warped, have that fixed in a jiffy though.

Also great idea to send out that smiley for professional treatment. Worth the attention. Came out so well.
This thread is almost 90 pages now, but full of some fine blades and bits of information on cool saves of clunkers.
Thanks for all the continued enthusiasm gents.
Check out Cuda's thread in the conversation on his cousin "Remembering a Warrior" as well. A great read that will warm your heart if your blood still flows.
Back to the shop for a bit o sanding and another finger of bourbon.
    Cheers.
Jiminy Cricket! Now you guys call it the Liberace brush! Ugh.
Outback you okay with that? Well, when the name comes with so many compliments how can I complain. Gonna have to find a very manly and dark, foreboding candlestick for the next one.
    You guys are lucky outback is enough of a man to be unaffected... hehehe ;

Well I'm retiring for the night, need to wake early, finish my 7 day set, and work on a Henry Sears 8/8" FBU broken blade rescue.
    Goodnight gentlemen.

About to drop the wheel on this blade.
    Figure post my how to.
I like having a very damp rag under the blade for two reasons.
    1. To cool the blade during amputation.

    2. To absorb any vibration or chatter, that may cause undo cracking elsewhere on the blade.

I also like a small bench fan, for cooling purposes.

Works good for buffing as well.

Always strart from edge, cutting towards spine.

Cutting wheel rotating in same direction.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1442633200810.jpg
