Plus the stamp is all over the place.

Just to the right of the lettering is some deep rust and I know there will be pitting there.

Edit. The really bad part will be covered by the scales. sweet
Oops I thought you were refering to the other W&B... This one has a good stamp.

Thanks guys! So many firsts for me lately, I'm really having fun, when I can get the time. This is my first celebrated. Learned some good lessons!
I'm not good at honing yet. I want to send this out but don't have the funds so need to wait to try it out.. and I don't trust my skills to give this blade its due.

Good thought, MikeT. Some experience on honing smiles is necessary on that one.

Man, I just wanted to make sure to send something back that was gonna be close to the greatness of your gift to me... That supremely bad a** anvil you sent me. You took a whole lot of initiative and hard work making and sending that.
This was my first brush, and very special. I'll be making more, but this one just appeared from from seemingly nowhere as a silly idea.. to something cool.
Glad to give something good to someone who deserves it.

Edit: the knot was purchased from TGN. Don't know if you like the one band badger, a bit more scritch, but a quality knot.
