If you go to Google maps ,Antique shops, London , there are untold.

There is a group of like 10 antique shops just above the Marylebone Road .That's my first port of call. Plus I travel all over London with my job so I will be on the look out.

I will defiantly get some micro mesh. I will have to look into stick fast. I think finishing oil and buffing is a good way to go. I've seen what can be accomplished with that method .

Also my friend is a car paint sprayer . I've been discussing pearl finishes and alike with him.

That Torrey is looking good! I've never shaved with one. Any good? I assume yes.

How do you quote twice in the same post?
MikeT, you just look at the one you want to quote & in the lower right there is a little box with a + mark. Click on that & a checkmark will appear. I then don't do it on the last one I will use, I just hit reply with quote. it adds all the quotes you checked. You can only do so many but I've quoted 3-4 in the same post before.

I had this image in my mind as I read your post.. antique stores on every corner instead of liquor stores, and display cases from wall to wall... "in this one big 8/8 choppers" ... "in this one 7 day sets" ... peddlers on the streets, a guy walks up.. he's got a long Victorian trench coat and top hat and he opens it up before you to display an array of the rarest of the rare straight razors!
And everyone on the streets are singing music from Mary Poppins!
    LMAO
... okay maybe not the music, just thought I'd throw that in there..
