Dang! I was so afraid of this as I read your post. You are truly even more remarkable a person as seeing how you are handling it and your positive attitude, MikeT! Things are all over the place down here, yet if you pick the right spot, can be heaven. "You're not from Texas, but you got here as quick as you could!".
We would have you!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanks man! Much appreciated. I gotta remain solid because my wife is a basket case lately and I begged her to remain calm. Just found out last month we have a baby on the way, out with the old in with the new. Gonna buy me some cowboy boots, a gun rack and a truck, and watch a couple John Wayne movies... I'm ready! Lol
So I just finished pinning the first if the 7 day. And have the silver plate just out of the kiln ready to get engraved. (It was the test plate I'll do the rest Tuesday).
Devised a way to pin the plates on a razor that is already assembled.. let me go get on the computer and post pictures..Last edited by MikeT; 09-21-2015 at 03:43 AM.

Can't wait to see MikeT. I have been looking into something but not ready to come out with it yet. Need some things to experiment with.
I haven't been able to wear my lizard skin boots for 2 years now but maybe if I get some medical attention, they might make the little swelling go down in my feet.

okay here it is. The first one finished (mostly) need to finish the surface of the silver, just out of the kiln, my first try so a little rough but it will look good I think. need to get it engraved.

The Engstrom is honed to perfection. Wished I could post pics of the edge .
Thats some hard sreel for as thin as it is. Two hours start to finish.
Off to the shower and give this thing a go at 3 day growth.
And the Liberaci brush.

Sorry if thats too many pics.
Afew of the blades were manufacturer rejects, never used. There are little crack/seems that go through, you may see them in the pics... I dont think it will affect the shave as they dont go near the blades edge, just on the spine... Dont think it will present a hazard,,, but who knows? hmm
The blade needs a bit of polishing though.
EDIT: Not too Liberace flashy??? Tried to tame it down for the sensitive ones... LMAO heheheLast edited by MikeT; 09-21-2015 at 03:31 AM.
