Thanks Jerry. For the amount of air it moves it's surprisingly quiet.

    Fan speeds are:

    Low: 1250
    Med: 1450
    High: 1650

I'm very pleased not only with the noise level but the lack of vibration AND how long it takes the blade to stop after turning it off, it's a very smooth running fan.

I also like that it's got quick connect levers that hold the wire guard on and that you can just loosen a single set bolt to remove the fan blade for cleaning. Those box fans are a BEACH!

    YES!

Both of my box fans are (20") fans and this Stanley is also a (20") fan but the box fans have 5 small blades and the Stanley has 3 large blades. They also seem to have different 'pitches' with the Stanley being more aggressive.

Here's what I mean about the blades:

Maybe MikeB52 or someone else with more knowledge than me can give the tech answer but I'm sure that a two blade prop on a plane moves more air than a 4 blade prop but the 4 blade runs smoother.

Actually since it is pretty organized it should be fairly easy to keep it that way. I still have a couple of drawers in the roll arounds that are empty but that's alright there will come a moment when I get an idea of what to store there.

I have a drawer for specialty tools, a drawer for 'things that measure' etc

The shelving is actually Way Too Deep for household usage as they are 20 inches in depth. However there are a few things that will fit nicely due to the depth. Such as the bags of hardwood pellets for my Traegar--or even ice chests--

By the way--dad's top box is the exact same make and model as mine but dad bought his about 2 years before I bought mine and his spent many a month bolted to the back of a Green Giant pickup truck's bed out in the field. The back is black and warped due to a fire in a pickup box--a spare tire's holder broke and when the tire fell the rim landed on the posts of a spare 12v battery and after a bit the tire caught fire and then it spread--I actually came upon the scene and my dad wasn't happy!

It had happened on a country road but not far from a small town, the fire engines were on their way to save the day.
Looking good Roy. But I’m sure you must have a special spot for those custom vintage brass drift puns don’t you? I know mine sits in a special tray

Well not a special 'tray' but a special 'drawer'.

What Tc is talking about is that when my father would replace a valve at Green Giant's Plant he'd save the brass valves then use them as punches. I polished up one and gave it to Tc when he was here 3 years ago.

There was one that was still just like it was when it was replaced EXCEPT for both ends had been beaten till they'd split--Dad was a firm believer in Brute Force

Yes--if something wouldn't 'go' easily then he'd turn to the brute force.

We were driving steel fence posts (I 'think' that they were 7 feet long and I was driving one and hit a big rock. After a few minutes dad took over---he pounded and pounded for over 20 minutes without stopping and then--the post went down a bit. He said; "There I broke the SOB, now you finish driving it.

I've been doing some fine tuning on where I want things in my tool chests and removed all but two of my dad's original labels as to what was where (He'd said he did it so that the other field mechanics could find something when he wanted it)--I like the way he pointed out that EVERYTHING in that tool box was his!:
