Perry Mason wouldn't argue with this. I rest my case:

    The Husband Store

A store that sells new husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may go to. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store choose a husband operates.

You may visit the store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch: you may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband and gets in the elevator...

On the first floor the sign reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs. She thinks, Oh that's nice but there has to be better.

On the second floor the sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs and love kids. She thinks, Oh that's better but there has to get better.

On the third floor the sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids, and are extremely good looking. "Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor.

On the fourth floor the sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help with the housework. "Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

On the fifth floor the sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak. She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

On the sixth floor the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 3,261,496,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.

Oh Jerry! When will you learn? It's not about the game, it's about how it's played! Good Luck!

I have a book around here somewhere that is called the practical uses of a steel square.

It is not that hard if you know how to use one. Written in the early 1900's LOL

Wull. I am proud of what Jerry accomplishes. I have always admired his workmanship.
Were I not so lazy, I might do some of that!
    Lazy me!

I'd love to have a book like that, Tim. As I've learned everything by trial and error. Or by doing it the long and hard way. I have a few squares. I guess it would help if I understood what some of the info on one means besides measuring.

But I also must say that the house has settled over the many many years and not much is square any longer. OR, it was built by a one-eyed carpenter.
    It's just Sharpening, right?
    Jerry...
