Thanked: 250Today I visited an antique shop operated by the newest divorcee in my harem and I came home with these two Aladdin gems. The nickel plated font has a Model 12 burner made sometime after 1928 and the other is a tall Lincoln drape with an incorrect Model C burner and white Alacite glass that glows under a black light. Whatcha think Tom?

Thanked: 250It looks tall because of the brass high altitude chimney extension I put on it. Model C's weren't the best designed burners Aladdin made and to make it burn efficiently with out soot I put the extension on. In my opinion the best burners Aladdin made were the Nu-Type Model B and the Model 12 center draft. The new 500 Max-Brite they came out with recently comes close to the Model B's.

Walking stick grip. If I do another one, I'll wear gloves, this was brutal on the hands.

Thanked: 4828I’ve done a lot of rope work over the years, specially when I was longlining, and it will take the hide off your hands in no time.
