I help other HAMs in the area with there Antennas. I have one to put back up next Friday. But i use rope a lot in running tools up and down the towers and lifting antennas and such. I used to not ware gloves but learned the hard way it is important. The fist time i worked with a hemp rope i figured id rather buy more expensive rope than to play with that stuff again. Ouch!

Nice job on the handle wrap. Looks like a fine tight job!

Just like bailing hay, doesn't take long to wear out a pair of pig skin gloves.

I used an old one inch scope mount on my weed eater
to tie off a guitar strap. I can work twice as long as before,
before the old arms get tired.

I love your way of thinking. Use what you have on hand to accomplish what you need!

    Great job improvising.
A good solid, comfortable strap really helps.

One of my newest divorcees really came through for me with this one. It's an Aladdin Diamond Quilt font in Jadeite Green glass made in 1937......the only year of production for this style font. Pictured next to it is my tall Lincoln Drape for comparison. First light up is tomorrow night. You may drool now Tom.
