Thanked: 37My two current fave beers are Pliny the Elder and Terrible. Pliny is a DIPA and Terrible is an abbey style strong dark. They are the polar opposites of extreme bitterness and malty sweetness.
I am making up a 10 gallon batch this weekend of Belgian strong dark. It is a clone of Cimay blue but I am adding a bit more of the special B grains to give it a bit more raison flavor. Six months of aging and then into the keggerator.

I had some Brooklyn Cookie Jar on draught today. It was delicious. Went very well with my Guinness Beef Stew.

Go for it Jimmy! Get that 15 year, it'll be worth it I'm starting to think maybe we should move this conversation to a Scotch thread...
Another good brew I like is Founders Dirty Bastard scotch ale, it's a good one. As it gets warmer the flavor becomes more complex. It is one that I won't drink too many of though because the flavor becomes too much for me after a few, I have that same problem with really hoppy beers too.
