Well last night C&D Exclusive came up in the rotation so I packed my Savinelli generously and enjoyed a rich satisfying smoke on the porch. Good smoking weather for last few days cool but dry and no wind.
This morning I was surprised to find a box from PipesandCigars.com already here 48 hours after I placed the order. And here is what came.

Hopefully enough Haddos Delight to keep me through the winter, and Plum pudding to try out. I will give my impressions of that tobacco later. Enjoy the weekend.

I think you will love the Haddo's Delight, I do. Cellared for a couple years, it just can't be beat. Loaded up my Jess Chonowitsch with Old Joe Krantz and a mug of milk and then to bed.

After a few more smokes in the new falcon there's just a little carbon building up and it's tightened the draw up nicely. Not perfect, but much better than it was.

Could only do one photo per post, so here's the after cleaning.

Are you sure it's the same pipe?

Rainy and gloomy here, so inside I stay today... 46 degrees and rain on the 13th of December... I'll take it over snow...

Default A sign that I have to many knifes and pipes....

I have found that ammo type cans work well for many things. Last summer when on vacation I put in one a couple of baggies of pipe tobacco, a couple of pipes and a folding knife in a leather sheath in one. Tonight when going through things I found the knife in the box and laid it in front of me on the desk. Boy that sheath has a good aroma!

Went to one of my B&M stores today and picked up another tobacco to taste. Orlik Strong Kentucky was my purchase and enjoyed it this afternoon in my Peterson Christmas pipe after cleaning and reaming it out. This tobacco was quite different than what I had before and I must say very good for anyone curious sweet virginias with dark fired kentucky tobacco is a pleasant smoke highly recommended.
