It seems, if I recall right, Radice started at the Castello factory, then he started Caminetto with Ascorti and then Ascorti and Radice split and started their own companies.

I have an Estate Radice Rind Cherrywood coming... The shank is carved like bamboo... I just couldn't pass it up...This is the only picture I have, not the best...

Radice did a lot with bamboo like carving, I'm sure you will enjoy your new pipe.

I'd say that was his trademark look.

Before this imported Santa thing for centuries we had Yule goat as a symbol of the winter solstice.
Here in the SW parts of the country he was known the same as in Sweden: Knut the goat . He wasn't always mr Nice Guy, but everything else. Here's a pic from our folklores:

But since the beginning of the last century he had healed his bad manners a bit. Old xmas card:

3 hours to midnight at my home... 4" of fresh snow on the ground and the sky has cleared... All the kids will be at the house at 8 am and a Ham, Sweet Potato's, Green Bean Casserole, Fresh Rolls and lots of other goodies will be cooking...
