An afternoon in the Ore Mountains, Saxony.
We were at the top of the Fichtelberg, 1215 m...highest point of Saxony

BTW: we drove 100 miles and met no other Jeep...that means we were in Germany...

In the moment I don't smoke inside. But a good Cuba-Cigar would give some character...

Tom, Is your Rubicon diesel powered? I seem to remember reading that there is a diesel option for European Wranglers.

Yes, it is a 2,8 l CRD with 460 Nm torque...that's good enough I think

I just sold the 10th anniversary Rubicon to a police officer this week. Congrats on finally getting it in.

No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

Devil, why you sold it? Because of the red pimp-seats?

I bought 2 new Peterson tins, Connoisseur's Choice and Irish Oak (was going for Old Dublin, but got confused ).

First thing that struck me was a sour note from freshly opened tins, especially from Irish Oak. Is this something normal? I never smoked Peterson tobaccos before, only MacBaren. I transferred both tobaccos into glass jars and left them to dry a bit as they seemed a bit too moist and sourness was gone.

I smoked 2 bowls of Connoisseur's Choice yesterday and I really enjoyed it. It had a sweet fruity punch at the beginning which I really liked. And room note is girlfriend approved, which is a big plus. Irish Oak is to be smoked.
