Thanked: 227Away with the wife and youngest for a few days. Dinner went fast. But got picture of dessert.
Dinner was crayfish and prawn salad for starter. Ribeye steak for main, and cheese was desert along with a glass of Devron 12yo.
I can't remember the cheeses. There was a brie, a hard cheddar, and a something covered in peppercorns that was awesome.

What are these loaves here? All glazey and tastey looking. You wouldn't happen to be making a whole loaf of donut?
This is last nights dinner, steak was supposed to moo all over, but the butchering was a little off with the thickness. There's cucumbers, tomatos, green pepper and some spring mix lettuce. Topped with a "balsamic cream" salad dressing.
I usually end up eating salads because I am cheap and lazy, not really for health reasons.

My father tells this story of one of his travels to China. He's extraordinarily picky about his food, but a guy he worked with wanted to try everything. He ordered snail and ate the whole thing (just before the flight home), it could have been a different kind of snail? Anyways, you weren't supposed to eat a black bit of the snail as that is essentially the colon. The guy was in the can for hours and hours and hours, went from the toilets to the plane's toilets. He ended up flying home and going straight to the doctor.
I would just advise the waiter and they'll let you know if there are any special instructions.
