It was Breakfast For Supper/Ham, Eggs and Hashbrowns.

However while it was Eggs and Hashbrowns, it wasn't 'Ham' but an experiment with curing chicken thighs in a brine that included some liquid smoke. The 'Ham' wasn't bad, not bad at all. I do think that I'll cut the amount of salt and liquid smoke down but I could serve it to company with no problems.

I love breakfast for dinner and those hash browns are calling me right through the screen. However, I have a weird quirk about eating chicken meat and eggs in the same meal. Something about the adult bird with the egg, I dunno.

What about having a MILKSHAKE with a HAMBURGER?

Or Chicken Soup with Egg Noodles?

Those are somehow both ok. I think it's just the regular egg with the chicken meat that bothers me. It happens in chicken fried rice with the egg in there so I make sure to get pork fried rice instead.

And oh god milk.... don't get me started. I like virtually all milk products except a glass of white milk, whew, gahh. I can't even stand driving behind a milk truck because of the huge picture of a glass of milk on the back. I switch lanes.

Many years ago my brother in law moved to a place in the country and decided to raise a beef. Well he was an avid hunter but his wife was a city girl and the only beef she'd ever eaten came from the butcher shop.

Anyway he was out feeding the steer and his wife walked up to him and said; "Bobby, how can you think of eating him? He looks at you just like we look at him".

Bobby said, "No he doesn't; he looks to me for food, water and shelter and I look at him for steaks, roasts, stew meat and burger".

Milk huh? I love a nice cold glass of milk. I miss farm milk (un-pasturised and not homogenized)as it's totally different than the store bought. Different Strokes for Different Folks.
