Thread: just wanted to share tonight's dinner with you guys..

a simple soup & salad tonight...
a hearty beef barley with begets...

and a mescaline, cuccumber, grape tomato, red pepper, red onion, cranraisins & peanuts with ceasar dressing, parmesan cheese and green dragon hot sauce...

I didn't get a finished picture. However I turned this chunk of ox cheek into a steak pie.



It was good. I think it's my new go to pie and stew cut.

well I was halfway threw this when I decided it was DELICIOUS & good enough to share...

...it may not be dinner but chili, scrambled eggs and melted American cheese with Thomas's English muffin is good for dinner, breakfast or whenever the desire so strikes you...

Had some breaded fried pork chops last night with some asparagus and biscuits.
As you see my little helper was cooking with me as he normally does.
Most times he's on the counter, but when frying, he stays away. He's learned grease pops

Feeling a bit rough and starving today, so am slumming it with dinner 😂



Couple of frozen burgers, some fried shrooms, a slice of fried bread, fried egg and some baked beans.

Was actually awesome.

I haven't posted here in a while. This is why. My bum ankle has me on my back. But there is a bit of popping and crunching going on in there so that might mean it's close to calming down. Some good meal is sure to come of it.

I was going to make a smart ass remark about your ankle and 'cooking'. However I came to my senses.

I do hope that you are literally back on your feet and posting about those wonderful dishes, pastries, breads etc that you are so good at real soon.

Tying to eat a little healthier without sacrifice,this was slapped together on the fly.....turkey meatballs in a light cream sauce with sage,smoked paprika and peas.No roux or cream or butter in the sauce it was a milk,stock and cornstarch mix. Not too shabby actually.
