Ribs and baked potatoes. 1/3 of the rack left but my son is coming to visit tonight so I doubt if there will be any left for breakfast.

Cast iron is the way to go with cornbread.

    Tonight was impromptu.
Bratwursts cooked in the pan with butter and onions, added some leftover Reisling and cooked ten more minutes. French fries for side.
I drank 4 cups of green tea today so I think my heart will be okay.

Sorry, but no. I was in a rush to finish before my wife came home. I promise to take some snapshots soon when I make some dishes out of my Lewis and Clark cookbook. I am pretty sure cornbread cooked in a cast iron skillet will make an appearance(skillet lined with bacon grease, of course).

Yeah...looks like we got the same size dutch Oven Ness...that a 3 qt. ? Swear if the choice was ever had to be made, my Dutch and my skillet would be the two things I couldn't live without. Cast Iron is king no contest. Nice presentation by the way.
