Beautiful, Jamie. I take it that is a western double bevel with a typical Japanese bevel angle of 15° each side?

Thanks, Mark, the knife has been in constant use since I received it, it's a fine slicer.

I use my safety razors as part of my rotation to get some experience with them for if I stay in a hotel etc. and I've tried a few different blades thanks to Jerries (Gasman's) generosity.

I've decided that Nacet are my go to so ordered 100.

They are great blades. I bought one of those 100 packs a while back.

I told SWMBO I wanted a Wall Clock in my room. She asked what kind and I told her to surprise me. But I don't need numbers on my clock and I don't want digital. So she got me this...

Jerry, doesn't get any more basic than that.(I don't think you really need that minute hand though.)

That would make it a bit harder to figure without the minute hand. Now if i was retired...

Not really a shaver and she knew that. It was more for display than anything. I thought I would mount it in a shadow box and hang it on the wall.
    She loves me.

It was advertised as 7/8 which I could tell by the pictures it was not. Turns out to be 11/16 but I don't have any Bengals so I bought it anyway. No bites, chips, delamination or cracks in the horn and no big deep pits or hone wear to speak of. Should clean up nicely.
