    A 28km ride before work.

Tested the new light together with the Cateye.

Damn strange. The speedometer works when the light is either on low beam or on high but not on medium. Unfortunately, it's the medium setting I'm going to be using on my race, so will have to look for a solution. I'll get myself a ferrite choke to see if that resolves the interference issues.

26K (16 mile) ride down to Tarpon Springs on Flo-Grown. Average speed was right 13 MPH. I think I've got to the point where it's the engine, not the bike. Apparently a fat old man can only pedal a bike (any bike) so fast.
The older I get, the better I was

Went back to the Nature Reserve this morning. The wind was pumping so the mist and overcast conditions quickly cleared. Saw quite a umber of animals including Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Baboons, Kudu (one with magnificent horns) and a couple of antelope whom I can't identify.

Total mileage was 58km with just under 1300m of ascent.
