    I really want to see what the final color will look like so I put the less damaged scale in to soak overnight.

    I pulled the front scale out of the oil this morning.

    How many days did it soak. I do a minimum of a week .

    Overnight. I didn't know you soaked them that long!
    I guess I'll put it and the first set of scales back in to soak longer then.

    Its hard to follow all the proper steps when you just want to get it together and hone it. Ha. S9aking for a week? Wow! Guess it will be a while before.you get that one ready for a shave. But its looking good. Nice work!
