Got it done. Still need to clean out the inside of the fireplace and get a tank filled up. Wish it was all ready, tonight is an excellent night. Could sleep out there tonight if I had to.

1 3/4" Hilti Cons. 3 in each post I think should hold er down. Bought it at Costco so if it decides to blow away or bend over, we'll take advantage of their excellent return policy.

Lets hope should it blow away it blows right to Costco for expediency in refund.

Looks super Andrew. An expanding oasis you are creating in Baden.
Tonight would be a great night for a fire.

Almost perfect, just simple. Bone handle.

And a short film, because it's just an experiment, I did not stick the knot.

Hopefully I'll be visiting my family in N AL in a few weeks. I need to figure out what I should work on while there if time permits. I have a few hours a year (maybe) where I can actually go in a shed and work without worrying about the mess and noise.

Very nice. I bet you could make a simple bone cap for the bottom or get fancy with different inlays.

That would be a quiet project to work on. Don't have any fabric components yet. I just use my DIY bridle strop. Probably shouldn't try ironing it.

Oh yeah.....From the 60's or 70's......The cord sweats.
Green crap emanating from the plug. If I get through these strops with it, think I shall chuck it.
