Used a marine epoxy called G flex. Pretty impressed . So far 70 shots & still holding together on a #60 shorty.

I'm leaving all the over run till I'm sure it will last & maybe not even then
Oz, it is one thing to do anything else, yet another to re-adhere with something much better.
    Could be a home-run!

Agreed Tom. That epoxy ain't cheap but seems perfect for bows.

I have seen a few bows delaminate and they have all been at full draw...

Scary to me but I am interested how it holds.

I was shooting next to a friend one time and the bow shattered as he aimed. He has great focus. He turned to me and laughed as he asked, "Am I bleeding?" [Just a few drops on his forehead!]

Another friend put an arrow through his forearm after it broke. He got quick service in the ER when he walked in and said he shot himself......

Lots of power and flex in archery and it deserves attention.

Initially mine let go well before full draw but I made the shot any way. It was a really hot day, about 105 F & I had it resting on concrete a couple of mins.

The more I shoot it the more confident I am with the glue job. Was gonna us eEpiglue but that is way brittle compared to the G Flex.
Guess I'll see down the line a ways but the maker was good enough to replace it with a new one but longer. They no longer make the model in the short length above #40.

I got some time this eve sense Garry didn't show. We will shoot for tomorrow if possible.
Anyway, Here are the four razors and scales I've been working on. Ready for pinning sometime tomorrow.
All with bone wedges that are the right angles measured and set by each razor tang. I'm happy with the mock-up but a couple are going to need some fancy pinning to get them to center.
BTW, I bought some of those Rosette Collars from AJ Kenney to do this job with. Got to get the collars polished up first, then start the pinning process.

Nice job on the scales. I like your Imperials. Used to have some similar.

Just need to mix up some clear alumilite and pour some casts..
Maybe add some antler and horn into the mix, not sure yet..
Mike it seems crazy to me how quick you whip up these great turned creations!
    Right on man, looks great!
How about a shave bowl made from an old artillery round..?
Not sure if the size is right? Also maybe some kind of turned wood insert?
