On the contrary dear Watson! I would say that the culprit has been discovered by the awesome deductive reasoning at play here! Hehehe
It definitely looks like a corrosive liquid pooled on the victims neck, only to be discovered years later by an enthusiastic historian detective named Tom..“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

I started honing this Cattaraugus that had a tiny bug bite on the bevel. I stopped with my Snow White & trying to figure if I want to use a different finisher.

Yes it does. It's too bad it had a tiny bug bite on the blade like my Crandall. It'll go in with the others to my Case family collection.

I am finally free to do a little work in the hoarders corner. I have three blades that I have picked out of the line up to make scales for them. The herder scales are almost done and the Kropp pair of scales is in progress.
